The Lester Senior Housing Community
The Lester Senior Housing Community consists of 180 units and opened in May, 2001 on the United Jewish Federation Aidekman Campus off Route 10 East, Whippany, NJ. The project is a mix of 84 market-rental 1 & 2 bedroom Independent Living units; 36 1 bedroom low & moderate Independent Living units; 60 Assisted Living studio and 1 bedrooom units. This is the first Jewish-sponsored, kosher Assisted Living community in the state of New Jersey.

The Service Package at the Lester Housing Commnity / Margaret & Martin Heller Independent Apartments includes the following:
- Meals - five evenings per week
- Housekeeping services in each apartment twice monthly
- A full range of social programs and recreational activities
The Service Package at the Lester Housing Commnity /Judy & Josh Weston Assisted Living residences includes the following:
- Three meals served daily 7 days a week
- Housekeeping Services in each apartment every week
- A full range of social programs and recreational activities
- Medication monitoring and administration under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Assistance in Activities of Daily Living (such as bathing, dressing, etc.)
- Linen Service
